Between a Hollywood superstar and a voice actor, the latter actually works harder. It is quite tough for a voice actor to put feelings and emotions to what he is reading, all the while knowing that he’s not seen on screen. The voice actor must be able to empathize with the character that he portrays and make sure that he breathes life into the script. This is where voice over training comes into play.

Voice over artists are able to learn the craft of voice acting and find good employment in this field by going through voice over training. Thousands of animated TV shows, cartoons, radio advertisements, web shows and movies are made on a regular basis. Moreover, each movie/TV show has a cast of more than 20-30 characters. There are worldwide opportunities galore for a voice actor.

Basic skills needed to join a voice over training course

One of the most important tools of the trade is diction. The student must have perfect enunciation and for that reason must attend speech classes to get his diction right. A voice talent would always have two roles to perform – the “acting,” and the “lending voice.” So, fantastic diction is not enough to start voice over training – the student must also enroll in an acting course before joining the voice over course.

What’s taught in a voiceover training program

When students are already half-way into the voice over training course, they become skilled at using and adjusting pitch, tone, volume and delivery speed to cater to numerous types of jobs.

After the main training is over, students learn how to market their skills, tap the right contacts, and get voice over work. The course instructors also help them create a voice over demo for their portfolio. A solid voice over training program provides students the opportunity to work in a real studio and fully grasp what they must and shouldn’t do in a sound booth and when behind the microphone.

Selecting a voice over training course

There are two aspects to voice training. Students who are interested in selling must opt for a commercial voice over course. Commercial voice talents are used for selling. TV advertisements, radio ads, phone and other media feature these voice overs. The voice over course also covers selling skills because all commercial voice overs sell a product or a service. This program does not cover acting skills. Students who are interested in showbiz must opt for a TV and movie voice over and dubbing program. Such courses require lip-synching, and so the voice over actor has to learn acting skills too.

You should contact the Gagosian gallery WWW.gagosian.com, I think they represent the estate and they even have 2 galleries In London. They would be able to either authenticate it, or tell you who could.

my old hs theatre is putting on the production of grease and my lil brother is in it…they need a car for obvious reasons…the sad part is there was a car but the people running theatre during my time left and took EVERYTHING…so can sum1 please help me find them a car from a rental prop place or whatever? I know chicago has theatre prop rental places….so im hoping someone can help these kids

Google “theater prop rental chicago” or just “prop rental chicago” and start making calls. If the first place doesn’t have it, ask them if they know who does.
