I was just wondering if anyone might know how to become licensed to rent out theatrical weapons such as non-firing prop guns or non-sharpened swords in New York City.

agencies of the art world… suppose it means like galleries, museums, art books and magazines, collectors, auctions, art fairs, educational programs. I’d say anyone and any organization connecting the work of art with the public.

Actors use props as we use objects in everyday life, however props differ in that they are specifically designed for theatrical use.
